Flame-resistant and fireproof doors maintain the air tightness of the room in which a fire has occurred, preventing the flames from spreading to the rest of the rooms in the building. In this type of door, the hardware (lock, handle, knob, door closer, etc.) plays a very important role, ensuring that the door is kept completely closed and the passage of heat and flammable gases is avoided.
Main features:
- Stainless steel and steel base (black).
- Certified by the entity L.G.A.I. and in accordance with the UNE 23802 standard as a fireproof handle.
- Minimum resistance of 120 minutes in fire tests with the corresponding door.
- Depending on the model, mounting is by means of fixed through bolts on the inner plate, floating through bolts or lag screws directly to the leaf of the door.
- Floating through bolts can be requested that will go through the door from the outside to the inside, making the installation more resistant.
- The screws for fixing the handle to the door are hidden, preventing theft of handles in public buildings.
