TESA ASSA ABOLY launches its new i-minimal electric lock access control, which stands out thanks to its minimalist, cutting-edge design that fits perfectly with any type of architectural style or decoration. The i-minimal device aims to reduce its aesthetic impact on points of access with a new, minimalist RFID reader that works with other elements such as handles and mortise locks to make this a unique solution while adding design and security.

Combining the advanced features of an access control lock with the security of an electric lock providing the impact of an automatic deadbolt and panic function. In addition, the device is certified for the outdoors (IP56), fire (EN 1634), and strength (EN14846). The i-minimal device is compatible with TESA ASSA ABLOY Read and Write and Wireless Online systems, as well as the Openow – BLE mobile opening solution, including sensors that indicate if the door is open, improperly shut, if there was a break-in attempt, or if it was opened using the mechanical cylinder.

The reader is available in white and black, including an electronic privacy button inside. This can be combined with a wide range of TESA ASSA ABLOY handles to match different styles, which are available in nine different finishes, including the innovative Antimicrobial anti-bacterial treatment. It is also compatible with any DIN handle, offering architects and interior designers the possibility of choosing from thousands of different models.
