TESA ASSA ABLOY opts for hybrid cars to renew the company’s commercial fleet

This measure represents a further step in our commitment to a continuous strategy of environmental improvement. In the coming months we will add new hybrid models that will allow us to reduce our carbon footprint considerably.

Sustainability has an important presence throughout the TESA ASSA ABLOY value chain. It is a key issue that the company takes into account in all our processes: from innovation to obtaining resources right through to production. And of course this also applies to the relationship with the company’s customers and suppliers, and in this regard, the national leader in locking solutions and access control technology has decided to go one step further and opt for hybrid cars when it comes to renewing the commercial fleet.

After the Toyota Auris added to our fleet this week, we will continue to introduce hybrid vehicles in the near future, which will gradually increase their presence in our fleet. This will allow us to reduce our carbon footprint considerably, while sending a message to all our stakeholders about our commitment to the environment and the need for us all to collaborate in the development of measures and actions that allow a global reduction of the emissions of harmful substances.

In this way, TESA ASSA ABLOY confirms the company’s commitment to minimising our environmental impact as much as possible in order to ensure a sustainable future while maintaining operational efficiency.

All this is part of the social innovation plan launched a year ago, which revolves around three fundamental pillars of sustainability: responsible production and consumption; health and welfare; and decent work and economic growth, all of them involving a social impact that also results in an impact on our business.
