The TESA ASSA ABLOY Premium armoured door, certified according to the most demanding Spanish regulations
The TESA ASSA ABLOY Premium armoured door successfully qualifies for the UNE 85160:2013 standard that proves its resistance to violent attacks.
Buildings such as institutional headquarters, hospitals, schools and sports stadiums are visited by thousands of people every day. They are therefore high-traffic facilities that need to guarantee the proper and safe transit of all these people. That’s why TESA ASSA ABLOY, the leading Spanish manufacturer and supplier of locking solutions and access control technology for the residential and institutional markets, has developed Traffic, our new range of frequently used door handles.
Traffic handles bring together the highest performance in terms of strength, security and flexibility of solutions (easy change of opening direction, compatible with panic bars). It is a system that cannot be dismantled, unique in the market, in which the handle is secured to the escutcheon by means of an internal nut that guarantees maximum durability, so that the handle will never break off. All this is proven by more than 500,000 actuations (cycles) and 1,000 N of axial strength (pulling) in the tests carried out according to the UNE EN 1906 standard.
But its strength makes it suitable for applications other than normal, everyday use. Made of AISI 316L stainless steel, the Traffic System offers excellent corrosion resistance. It is also suitable for fire doors, according to standard EN 1634-1. All of this makes the Traffic System ideal for heavy interior and exterior doors with heavy traffic.
The Traffic system also features the latest in handle design. The result of an intensive study, the original aesthetics of these handles are the consequence of the current tastes and trends according to the different players in the market for high-end and quality handles, offering four different designs: Tundra, Sena-I, Obbal and Kubika.

For nursing homes, upgrading or replacing an outdated access system (whether this involves mechanical keys or an outdated hardwired system) is a very sensitive task. Like many organisations operating in France within this sector, the Sainte Anne nursing home opted for the SMARTair™ wireless access control system.
They guarantee maximum strength, security and durability even in the most aggressive environments, which makes them the ideal solution for installations with high traffic of people.
