The TESA ASSA ABLOY Premium armoured door, certified according to the most demanding Spanish regulations.

The TESA ASSA ABLOY Premium armoured door successfully qualifies for the UNE 85160:2013 standard that proves its resistance to violent attacks.

The TESA ASSA ABLOY Premium armoured door has recently received UNE 85160:2013 certification. This is the most demanding regulation for this type of product that exists in Spain. The door received the 4C classification: a burglar-resistant door (measured in violent impacts) that has a closing system to counter violent, manual and electrical attacks. To certify the door according to this regulation, an attack is simulated using mechanical and electrical tools, imitating the modus operandi of the current thief according to police sources.

This standard specifies the selection, application and installation criteria for burglar-resistant security doors. However, the standard does not apply to doors for enclosures or vault rooms. UNE 85160:2013 applies to the door as a whole, including its frame, its fittings and its installation, and establishes a classification based on several parameters: protection against attacks without the use of physical force, access control, access and attack detection, proper installation and document control.

TESA ASSA ABLOY already has the European standard UNE-EN 1627:2011, so this new Spanish certification adds complementary security to a product that satisfies the most demanding standards.
